Highland Stillhouse Pub
Highland Stillhouse Pub sits above Willamette Falls on S 2nd Street, with a view that does some of the work for the beer. Inside it’s a dark, wood-heavy Scottish pub — low lighting and bar staff who can tell a Highland single malt from an Islay without checking the label.
Whisky is the reason regulars keep coming back: the list runs heavy on Scotch, with enough range that staff are used to walking newcomers through it on request, and enough beyond Scotland to hold a bourbon drinker’s interest too.
The kitchen does standard pub food with some real sourcing behind it — fish and chips, a dense shepherd’s pie, and ingredients from local suppliers including Zenner’s Sausage and Bob’s Red Mill. Gluten-free options are available.
It’s Oregon City’s official Portland Timbers pub, with every match on screen and gear discounts on game days, and happy hour runs Tuesday through Sunday. Not the pick for a quiet dinner, but a solid one for a long evening with good beer, a decent crowd, and one of the better bar views in town.
Closed Mondays.
