Mike's Drive-In

Mike’s Drive-In has been at the corner of 7th Street in Oregon City since 1988, operating out of a building originally constructed as an A&W in the 1960s. It’s part of a four-location local Oregon chain, not a national franchise, and the menu reflects that: burgers are grilled to order, not pre-formed and frozen.

The burger lineup runs from the foundational Deluxe Burger (1/4 lb patty, lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo, the one that built the reputation) to the All American Cheeseburger, which uses a blend of short rib, brisket, and chuck on a brioche bun with A-mayo and cheddar. Other standouts include the Mike’s Special Deluxe (pepper bacon, cheddar, a large egg, and special sauce) and the Blue’s Bacon Burger with blue cheese crumbles and bacon on brioche. A Gardenburger and gluten-free bun option are available. All combos can be upgraded to a shake for $2.75.

The shake program spans over 20 hand-dipped flavors: classics like Chocolate and Vanilla through Espresso, Marionberry, Butterfinger, Mike’s PB Cup, and Root Beer, with malts available. Sundaes, cones, and a Banana Split cover the rest of the dessert menu.

Beyond burgers, the menu includes a Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Strip Basket, 2 and 4 Piece Cod Baskets, Clam Strips, and a Corndog. Appetizers cover French Fries, Tater Tots, Battered Onion Rings, Sweet Potato Waffle Fries, Fried Pickle Spears, and Battered Mushrooms with ranch.
