The Hardware Store
The Hardware Store is a speakeasy hidden underneath The Hive Social in downtown Oregon City, opened in 2023 as a follow-up to the restaurant upstairs. Getting in is part of the concept: an unmarked door, a painting that swings open, and an access code stand between you and the bar.
Inside, the room mixes couches, booths, and high-top seating around a bar stocked with more than 300 American whiskeys, bourbons, and single malts, alongside craft cocktails and a seasonal, scratch-made food menu.
The Hardware Store is 21 and over, open Wednesday through Saturday evenings. Live music plays Saturday nights, and trivia runs the first Wednesday of every month, both with no cover charge. The space can also be booked for private events, seating up to 36 for a dinner or 65 for a cocktail-style gathering.
